Fix August 8, 2026

Long-running jobs no longer killed after 2 hours by SLURM

Some analyses (for example large Seurat SCTransform normalizations) were being cancelled by SLURM after exactly 2 hours when the submitted walltime was too short. This is fixed: all jobs are now submitted with a 24-hour SLURM time limit (or longer if the duration prediction plus a 5-minute buffer exceeds 24 hours). If a job failed earlier with a SLURM time-limit cancellation, you can safely relaunch it.

New heatmap step

A new heatmap step is now available. It allows users to: - Cluster a selected set of genes and cells (or samples), or group them according to metadata categories, and visualize the results as a dynamic heatmap. - Add gene and cell/sample metadata tracks to the heatmap. - Save the state of a heatmap as a checkpoint with a permanent URL for external reference. - Collaboratively comment on a heatmap checkpoint. - Export the heatmap as an SVG image for publication.
